Aeolus Capital Management Ltd. (“Aeolus”) today announced that Fergus Morrison is promoted to Partner with immediate effect.
Mr. Morrison joined Aeolus in 2018 as a Portfolio Manager on the investment team, focusing on underwriting a portfolio of property catastrophe reinsurance transactions. As Partner, he will join Aeolus’ Operating Committee which is the body responsible for reviewing the performance and strategic direction of the Aeolus group and having oversight of its day-to-day operations.
Previously Morrison was an underwriter at Securis Investment Partners (“Securis”) where he was a key member of the analytics team with experience in pricing, modelling and underwriting collateralized reinsurance, retrocession, ILW, and cat bonds. Prior to Securis he worked at RMS Capital Markets as a consultant.
