We are proud to announce our latest solar energy project in support of the Bermuda Football Association (BFA): the donation of a state-of-the-art solar panel system that will reduce the BFA’s carbon footprint and significantly cut long-term operating costs.
The newly installed solar energy system, expertly designed and implemented by BE Solar, features 20 high-efficiency 430-watt solar panels paired with 20 Enphase microinverters. This clean energy system is expected to generate approximately $5,332 worth of electricity in its first year alone, reducing the BFA’s electricity rate to just 13 cents per kilowatt-hour and saving an average of $444 per month. Over the next 30 years, the system is projected to produce 310,986 kWh of electricity and save the BFA an estimated $232,024.
This transformative gift allows the BFA to redirect funds from utility expenses to its core mission: supporting local football programs and nurturing the next generation of Bermudian athletes.
BFA President, Mark Wade stated “The Bermuda Football Association is eternally grateful to Aeolus Capital Management for their gift that will keep giving for the next 30 years. Through this one initiative, we have reduced our carbon footprint and will realize meaningful yearly cost savings.
